This Privacy Policy explains what Startup Feedback (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and what choices you have. Startup Feedback is operated by an independent solo developer. We try to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Your email address — to create your account and send magic-link sign-in emails.
• Content you submit — the startups you post (name, URL, tagline, description, and your “ask”) and the written feedback you leave on other startups.
• Session data — a secure cookie that keeps you signed in, plus basic technical logs (IP address, user agent) used to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

• To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
• To run the core feature: showing startups to reviewers and delivering the feedback you receive to your dashboard.
• To send transactional emails (magic-link sign-in).
• To prevent abuse and keep the service working.

We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing email.

Who we share it with

• Our email delivery provider — used to send magic-link sign-in emails. Only your email address is shared, and only for that purpose.
• Our cloud hosting provider — where the application and its database run.

We may disclose information if required by law. Note that the startups you submit are public by design; the written feedback you receive is private and shown only to you.

Cookies

We use a single, essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated content at any time by emailing us, and we will remove it within a reasonable period.

Minors

Startup Feedback is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
